Framing your autographed record is
an effective
way of protecting
and displaying it.
Keeping autographs behind glass helps to protect
and preserve the signatures.
With the record on the right we cut a circular mount
and then inserted
a plaque explaining who
the record was signed by.
The record covers on
the left were framed in much
the same way,
with a mount and again a plaque
describing who the covers were signed by.
It is always important with autographs to prevent the
glass from
touching them.
Adding a mount is an effective and attractive
way
of achieving this.
There are a number of possible methods and
layouts
when framing CD's.
In the two pictures on the right we cut a circular
mount around the CD.
This followed and joined on to the shape of the album cover.
Below on the left we added a ticket from a concert
and on the right
we inserted a plaque describing
the contents of the frame.
In the pictures on the
left we have added an
autographed photo
to the album cover.
