When you have spent valuable time
sewing
your embroidery,
you deserve to have it
framed with care and attention. |
 |
 |
When we frame
tapestries and embroideries, we
stretch
them over card without using any glue or adhesives.
This ensures the embroidery does not become damaged
or discoloured. |
Some of our customers
bring their embroideries to
us
already laced which means it is then not
necessary for
us to stretch them. |
 |
 |
There are many
different ways to frame embroideries some
of which are displayed here.
Often with embroideries it is advisable to put a mount
on
as well as a frame so that the glass is not
touching the stitching. |
If your embroidery has
beads or other objects sewn
onto it,
we can either put mounts on to raise the
glass or we can put a
float mount on which creates
more depth to the mount. |
